The Electro-Voice TX2181 is a Tour X series subwoofer module designed to bring high impact, high efficiency bass to full range systems like the TX2152 . It features two high excursion 18” EVS-18S woofers in a rigid, well-braced enclosure constructed of plywood + MDF with heavy duty EVCoat coating. The 16 GA steel grille with rotating logo protects the transducers without compromising low distortion port airflow. With 103 dB sensitivity and 138 dB rated peak level, it delivers punchy SPL from reasonable power stages.
