The L-TRONIK MX-882 is a microprocessor- controlled remote control for the MX-880 matrix switch. It provides volume control , zone/channel selection , and two microphone inputs at the point of use. The front panel features two XLR connectors with independent volume and treble and bass tone control for each microphone, allowing pickup and intelligibility to be adjusted without having to access the rack. Communication with the matrix switch is via RS-485 using Cat 5 cable and RJ45 connector , with a range of up to 1 km . For local audio , a balanced cable is recommended to ensure noise immunity in professional environments.
