The LINEAR 5 MKII BIG VENUE PACK is the most powerful system in the HK Audio LINEAR 5 MKII series. Designed to powerfully cover popular parties, clubs, live stages and large-scale dance events , it combines high sound pressure, deep bass and total control thanks to its remote DSPs and built-in presets . The set includes 2 LINEAR 5 MKII 115 FA full-range loudspeakers and 4 LINEAR 5 MKII 118 Sub A active subwoofers , plus 6 Weather Protective Covers (2 for 115 FA and 4 for 118 Sub A) for safe outdoor operation.

The architecture is designed to scale: you can mount the 115 FAs in a headstack (top mounted on a sub), stack them, or create a cluster for greater range and consistent coverage. The 118 Sub A's provide punch and low-frequency extension, with panel-selectable cardioid presets to reduce rear spill without the need for metering. Everything is integrated via an EtherCon network with HK Audio DSP CONTROL software and easily routed using the DSP Out outputs.

Composition of the system

• 2 × LINEAR 5 MKII 115 FA — 15" full-range box + 1" motor with 60° × 40° rotating horn, 600 W RMS / 1200 W peak , max. 138 dB peak ; DSP with FIR, presets (Flat/Boost/Low Cut/Remote), EtherCon , DSP Out .
• 4 × LINEAR 5 MKII 118 Sub A — active subwoofer 18" 4 voice coil, 1000 W RMS / 2000 W peak , max. SPL 131 dB peak ; cardioid presets (Front/1:1 vertical/1:1 horizontal/Remote), EtherCon In/Thru , DSP Out .
• Included accessories : 2 × Weather Protective Cover for 115 FA and 4 × Weather Protective Cover for 118 Sub A (rain protection with reading windows and access to controls).

Total peak power of the pack: 10,400 W (2 x 1200 W + 4 x 2000 W). Configuration prepared to work continuously and can be expanded or doubled when greater coverage is required.

Connectivity and control

Each 115 FA features a combo XLR/TRS input , XLR output , EtherCon (In), and DSP Out . Each 118 Sub A offers two combo inputs , two XLR Thru outputs , one XLR DSP Out , and an EtherCon In/Thru . HK Audio DSP CONTROL software allows for 10-band parametric EQ, filter, polarity, level, delay , and limiter adjustment throughout the entire chain.
