The HK Audio L5 112 FA is a compact, self-powered, two-way full-range system that combines efficiency, punch, and controlled coverage in a touring and installation-ready package. Its low-resonance, multi-ply MDF/birch enclosure with a trapezoidal design provides rigidity and reduces unwanted vibrations, while the rotatable asymmetrical horn (60°/90° × 55°) optimizes dispersion, opening up close and concentrating energy further away for consistent intelligibility across the entire venue. It can operate as a standalone speaker or in combination with LINEAR SUB subwoofers and other LINEAR 5 series systems.

It features a 12” woofer (2.5” voice coil) and a 1” driver (1.75” diaphragm) actively crossover filtered at 1.65 kHz with a 24 dB/oct slope, driven by a 1000 W bi-amplified Class D stage . It offers a frequency response of 64 Hz – 18 kHz (±3 dB) / 57 Hz – 20 kHz (−10 dB) and a maximum SPL of 135 dB (peak) , with active undervoltage, thermal, short-circuit and overload protections for stable performance over extended sessions. Connectivity is direct and flexible: 2 × XLR In , 2 × XLR Thru and 1 × XLR Mix Out ; input sensitivity is +4 dBu with the gain control set to center click (LINEAR 5 system level).
