The JBL Professional MTC-14WG-BK is a high humidity replacement grille set designed for JBL Control 12C/T in-ceiling speakers in a black finish (also compatible with Control 14C/T-BK ). Constructed of 1060 aluminum alloy - a rust-resistant material - and finished with a satin powder coating , they withstand high humidity environments and help extend the life of your system. They mount simply by press-fitting over the speaker baffle, and a scrim bonded to the grille helps break up squeezing rain and reduce particulate ingress when the speaker is installed in a horizontal ceiling with sound projecting downward.

Installation recommendations

• Install the speaker on a horizontal surface (ceiling) with the sound projected downwards and in protected/covered areas.
• To paint, do not remove the scrim; apply light coats to color the scrim without obstructing the weave.
• In particularly corrosive environments, the installer can replace the speaker mounting screws with stainless steel equivalents of the same size.
