The JBL Professional AW266-LSBK is a 2-way passive loudspeaker for fixed installation, designed to deliver high intelligibility and reliability in exposed outdoor and indoor environments. It combines a 12" JBL 2262H woofer with Differential Drive® technology (dual voice coil and dual air gap) and a JBL 2432H compression driver (1.5" exit, 3" voice coil), coupled to a large-format PT™ (Progressive Transition) waveguide with a 60° × 60° pattern. The LS version incorporates sealed components and is EN 54-24 compliant for life safety applications. Note: A non-LS unit may be shown in promotional materials for illustrative purposes.
For versatile integration, the system can operate on 8 Ω or distribution lines thanks to its internal 400 W transformer for 70/100 V with selectable taps. The all-weather construction is genuine: a 100% hand-laminated fiberglass enclosure, heavily braced, and a three-layer stainless steel grille with open-cell foam and mesh, rated IP55C (IEC 529) . It is supplied with a corrosion-resistant U-shaped mounting bracket . Finished in black (-BK) ; also available in gray (gel-coat similar to Pantone 420C).
