The JBL Professional AC28-26-WH is a compact , 2-way , full-range system from the AE Compact family, designed to deliver maximum bandwidth , high SPL , and an unobtrusive visual presence in fixed installations. It features two × 8″ JBL 228J drivers with 64 mm voice coils and SFG™ technology, paired with a 1″ exit 2408H-1 compression driver (38 mm voice coil), mounted on a rotatable PT™ waveguide with 120° × 60° coverage that maintains directivity in both vertical and horizontal orientations. The 2.1 kHz passive crossover includes a selectable orientation, and Filtered Array Technology (FAT™) topology controls the two woofers for smooth power response and constant coverage.

The enclosure is constructed from 12/15 mm hardwood plywood with a white (-WH) DuraFlex™ finish , 16 gauge steel grille with acoustic foam (with grille cloth on white units) and multiple mounting options: 6 × M8 (1 top, 3 bottom, 2 rear) and 4 × M8 rear for MultiMount® MM-120-BT . Connectivity combines 2 × Neutrik Speakon® NL4 with shrouded CE terminal block in parallel ( NL4 +1/−1 in parallel with terminal block; +2/−2 as loop-through ). With sensitivity of 94 dB (1 W/1 m) , max SPL 120 dB. With 120 dB , 8 Ω impedance , and IEC 375/750/1500 W and 700 W AES power, the AC28-26-WH performs with authority in theaters, auditoriums, houses of worship, sports venues, and themed spaces, integrating elegantly into white-washed projects. It features FIR tunings and preset libraries for Crown amplification (CDi/DCi/I-Tech HD).
