This OEM replacement restores factory treble response, phase coherence, and tonal balance, while maintaining the system’s acoustic reliability in indoor and outdoor applications. The Control 28-1’s tweeter driver employs a 25 mm (1”) PEI diaphragm with low-viscosity ferromagnetic fluid for improved voice coil cooling and increased long-term power handling, and a Kapton™ voice coil former for extended high-frequency response with low distortion. The 5064572 fits directly into the 28-1 housing and connects to the original crossover network without any modifications.
