The JBL Professional CSS8004 is a Commercial Series in-wall loudspeaker with a 100 mm (4") dual-cone driver , designed to deliver high intelligibility for PA and BGM applications with minimal amplification power. Its 90 dB sensitivity and very wide 175° conical coverage allow large areas to be covered with fewer units. It incorporates a 5 W multi-tap transformer compatible with 25/70/100 V distributed lines and is delivered as a pre-assembled set (loudspeaker + transformer + grille) for quick and standard installation.

For plenum-rated false ceiling installations, the CSS8004 is mounted with the CSS-BB4 backcan and CSS-TR4/8 tile rails , meeting applicable UL/NFPA standards. Its painted metal grille and low-profile ( grille diameter 198 mm , depth beyond grille 94 mm ) ensure aesthetic integration into commercial, educational, and corporate environments.
