The JBL Professional Control 52 is a wall-mountable mid-high satellite speaker that delivers high fidelity in both background and foreground music installations while maintaining a discreet aesthetic. Its 60 mm (2.5") low-distortion driver features a secondary magnet for high efficiency, a rubber surround for enhanced bass, a 19 mm CCAW voice coil on a vented Nomex former for reliability, and a copper-stub pole piece that stabilizes impedance and extends treble response. The included spherical mount allows each speaker to be angled up to 45° off-axis, facilitating precise positioning towards the audience.
With a nominal impedance of 16 Ω and very wide coverage, the Control 52 is ideal for grouping multiple units per channel. It is part of JBL's sub/satellite systems: for full bandwidth response , it can be fed in 2- or 4-satellite configurations from Control 50S/T (wall-mounted), Control 60PS/T (pendant), or Control 40CS/T (ceiling) subwoofers. It can also be mixed with Control 42C ceiling satellites and Control 62P pendants, maintaining tonal and coverage consistency in hybrid projects.
