The JBL Control 50 is a passive surface-mount speaker system that combines a compact Control 50S/T subwoofer with four Control 52 satellites to deliver high-fidelity sound with a minimal visual footprint. Designed for restaurants, cafes, retail spaces, hotels, offices, and entertainment venues, the system provides a wide frequency response of 32 Hz to 20 kHz (−10 dB) and flexible operation on low impedance or 70/100 V lines . Its white aesthetic blends discreetly into ceilings and walls, and the included wall brackets simplify a clean installation.
The Control 50S/T subwoofer integrates the crossover and routing to the satellites , with four dedicated outputs, plus a Loop Out connector for daisy-chaining the wideband signal to other speakers or another sub/satellite system. The 200mm long-throw driver, along with its robust enclosure and front-ported design, delivers solid bass even at low volumes. The Control 52 satellites use a low-distortion 60mm transducer and can be angled up to 45° with their stand to evenly cover the listening area.

Installation and configuration
- The subwoofer incorporates the crossover and four outputs for satellites; use the 70/100 V tap selector or 8 Ω bypass depending on your system.
- For a neutral tonal balance, it is recommended to place the sub in the center of the wall ; in corners, the bass level increases.
- Leave at least 50 cm of lateral separation from the subwoofer port to avoid obstructing acoustic ventilation.
