The JBL Professional Control 322CT is a high-performance , 12-inch coaxial ceiling loudspeaker designed for professional applications requiring high intelligibility , high SPL , and consistent 90° coverage in a discreet aesthetic. The specially designed metal baffle acts as a waveguide, providing broadband pattern control that maintains off-axis tonal uniformity. Its transducer array combines a 300mm woofer with a Kevlar-reinforced cone and 75mm voice coil with a medium-format compression driver ( 37mm diaphragm), driven by a steep-slope crossover network for a smooth, natural midrange. The CT version integrates a 100W multi-tap transformer for 70/100V lines, facilitating its use in large-area distributed systems.
Designed for efficient installation, the 366 x 366 mm square baffle incorporates the EZRail™ guide, which streamlines mounting on the optional MTC-300BB12 (3 ft³) backbox , and uses a locking barrier connector for bare wire. The architecture is certified for use in plenum/air handling spaces when installed with a UL-listed backcan, meeting UL1480, UL2043, and NFPA-90A/70 standards. With 95 dB sensitivity , 400 W (2 h) power handling , and a maximum SPL of 121 dB (124 dB peak), the Control 322CT covers large areas with fewer points, optimizing system cost without sacrificing performance.
