The JBL Professional Control 31 is a high-performance , two-way installation loudspeaker designed to deliver extended bandwidth , exceptionally smooth response , and symmetrical 110° × 110° coverage for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features a 250 mm (10") woofer with a woven fiberglass cone and butyl surround over a 52 mm (2") high-temperature voice coil , and a 25 mm (1") JBL 2414H-C compression driver with a patented, fluid-cooled, high-temperature polymer diaphragm. With a 250 W at 8 Ω power handling capacity and a 150 W 70/100 V multi-tap transformer with 8 Ω bypass, it integrates seamlessly into low-impedance or distributed systems.
Its construction is optimized for outdoor use: a high-strength HIPS enclosure with 5 mm internal polyurethane foam reinforcement, a zinc-plated steel grille with a thermoset coating, and standard multi-layer WeatherMax™ (optional MTC-30MK marine kit for saline environments). It meets IP-55 standards and exceeds MilSpec 810 environmental tests (humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV). It includes an InvisiBall® bracket for quick mounting and precise orientation, plus ten M6 points for suspension or use with the MTC-30UB U-bracket . The MTC-PC2 watertight cover and screw terminals ensure a secure connection.
