The JBL Professional Control 25AV-LS is a compact, two-way loudspeaker specifically designed for life safety and emergency messaging applications , based on the acoustic platform of the renowned Control 25AV. It is EN 54-24 (Type B) certified and UL 1480 UUMW listed for use in fire alarm and/or emergency communication systems . Its deep enclosure, high-power components, and complex crossover network provide exceptionally smooth response and uniform coverage in a discreet, rugged indoor/outdoor form factor.
For distributed installations, it integrates a 60W transformer with 70/100V taps, maintaining fidelity comparable to direct mode. In low impedance, it features an 8Ω bypass . The 130mm woofer with a polypropylene-coated cone and WeatherEdge™ surround is paired with a 20mm titanium-coated horn-loaded tweeter . The 110° × 85° HF horn ensures wide and controlled dispersion; SonicGuard™ protection safeguards against overloads. The package includes an InvisiBall® mounting bracket and an MTC-PC2 weatherproof cover for the input panel. Supplied in pairs (2 units) .
