Its two-way design combines a 200mm woofer with a polymer-coated aluminum cone and butyl rubber surround, capable of extending bass response down to 30Hz, with a 25mm pure titanium dome tweeter mounted on an EOS™ waveguide and a low-diffraction swivel bracket (up to ±10°) to direct high frequencies toward the listening area. The steep crossover (12dB/oct) maintains natural midrange and even coverage, while the 90dB sensitivity and 8Ω impedance make it easy to pair with standard power amplifiers.
With a bandwidth of 30 Hz–20 kHz (−10 dB) and wide coverage (approximately 180° H × 160° V in the mid-frequency range), the Control 128W performs admirably for both background music and critical listening in boardrooms, reception areas, retail spaces, museums, hotels, or surround sound environments. Its screw-in Euroblock terminal block simplifies pre-wiring and installation, and the grille and baffle are paintable for seamless wall integration. For new construction, an optional rough-in frame (WB8 / MTC-128RIF) is available for mounting to the wall before installation.
