The JBL AWC129 is a compact, highly weatherproof loudspeaker system designed to deliver clear vocals and extended musical response in demanding indoor and outdoor installations. Its 2-way coaxial architecture combines a 300 mm (12") Kevlar-reinforced cone woofer with a 75 mm voice coil, along with a 25 mm compression driver featuring a high-temperature polymer diaphragm. The waveguide integrated into the cone provides a consistent 90° × 90° wideband coverage pattern , ideal for sports arenas, theme parks, swimming pools, plazas, stations, and all types of public spaces. With an IP56 rating and corrosion-resistant materials, the AWC129 maintains its performance under rain, UV radiation, and salt spray.
It offers a frequency response of 55 Hz – 20 kHz (−10 dB) with a sensitivity of 96 dB (2.83 V/1 m) and a maximum SPL of 122 dB ( 128 dB peak) into 8 Ω. It features a 200 W (200/100/50 W; plus 25 W at 70 V) 70/100 V multi-tap transformer and an 8 Ω bypass , allowing its use in distributed lines or with low-impedance amplification. The paintable enclosure is made of fiberglass-reinforced ABS, and the zinc-rich powder-coated steel grille incorporates high-density foam and mesh for maximum protection. A color-matched U-bracket is included for quick and secure mounting.
