The JBL Professional AW526 is a high-power passive loudspeaker for fixed installations in exposed outdoor and indoor environments. It utilizes a 380 mm JBL 2265H woofer with Differential Drive® technology and a 2432H compression driver (38 mm exit, 75 mm voice coil), coupled to a large-format PT™ (Progressive Transition) waveguide with a 120° × 60° pattern . The horn is rotatable , maintaining directivity in both vertical and horizontal mounting, ensuring uniform coverage and excellent intelligibility across wide areas.
For flexible integration, the system operates on 8 Ω or distribution lines thanks to its internal 400 W transformer for 70/100 V with selectable taps. Its hand-laminated fiberglass enclosure and stainless steel grille with open-cell foam and internal mesh provide effective protection against rain, humidity, dust, and salt spray, with an IP55C environmental rating . It is supplied with a corrosion-resistant U-shaped mounting bracket and is available in gray (gel-coat similar to Pantone 420C) and black . Is the AW526 EN 54-24 certified? No. That certification applies to the AW526-LS , which also uses sealed components. The standard AW526 shares the acoustic architecture, but not the EN 54-24 certification.

Can the horn be rotated for horizontal mounting? Yes. The PT™ guide is rotatable and maintains the 120° × 60° pattern in any enclosure orientation.
