The JBL 708P is a powered reference monitor designed for critical music recording, film post-production and broadcasting tasks. It combines the 203 mm (8") JBL 728G woofer with Differential Drive® technology and the JBL 2409H compression driver with the renowned Image Control Waveguide , delivering a wide soundstage, fine detail, and tonal accuracy in a wide variety of rooms. Its 2 x 250 W (HF/LF) Class D amplification with internal 32-bit/192 kHz floating-point DSP provides superior dynamic range and allows working at greater distances than comparable-sized monitors. It features advanced room equalization (12-band Room EQ + 8-band User EQ), factory/user presets , room delay , and AV Sync , as well as balanced analog XLR/TRS and AES3 digital inputs with pass-through for monitor linking.
