IK Multimedia iRig Mic Video – Supercardioid Digital Shotgun Microphone for Smartphone, Tablet, DSLR, and Computer
iRig Mic Video is a compact digital shotgun microphone designed to elevate the audio quality of your videos on any platform. Its 0.55” electret condenser capsule with a supercardioid pattern focuses the pickup pattern on your subject and effectively rejects lateral noise, while its 24-bit/96 kHz transducers deliver clear, detailed sound. Unlike analog camera mics, iRig Mic Video integrates a preamplification with adjustable gain (47 dB) , a headphone output with direct/processed monitoring, and a digital USB connection for iOS, Android, Mac, and PC. For complete mobility, it attaches to your phone via a magnetic mount (even with a case) and to cameras via the included cold shoe ; when working with DSLRs, it is powered by a CR1632 battery and connects via a TRS mini jack. A windscreen and the full set of cables (Lightning, USB-C, micro-USB/OTG, and TRS for DSLRs) complete a kit ready for vlogging, interviews, reporting, and content creation.
