The IK Multimedia iRig Mic Lav 2 Pack is a dual-microphone lavalier microphone kit designed for professional-quality vocal capture directly from smartphones and tablets with a 3.5mm TRRS headphone input ( CTIA/AHJ standard). Each microphone features a vocal-optimized omnidirectional electret condenser capsule with a frequency response of 30 Hz–16 kHz (−3 dB) , capable of up to 120 dB SPL . The in-line unit features a TRRS combo connector with Input/Monitor switch that allows two iRig Mic Lavs to be linked to the same device or for headphone monitoring while recording, all powered by plug-in power from the device itself. Foam windscreens , mounting clips , and carrying cases are included for immediate use in interviews, reporting, podcasts , and mobile content creation.
