ik Multimedia introduces the ultra-compact, high-resolution iLoud MTM MKII studio monitor. Despite its similar appearance to its predecessor, the iLoud MTM, this new model features numerous improvements that further elevate its sound performance: Improved Speaker Drivers - Redesigned custom mid-woofers not only deliver more bass extension and definition, but also improve midrange clarity and articulation. Thanks to a lighter, more rigid moving mass, the MKII mid-woofers reveal every tiny detail in the midrange, allowing for an enhanced, more critical listening experience that ultimately results in a faster, more accurate mix. Improved Dispersion Response - Controlled vertical dispersion is one of the key design factors of the original iLoud MTM. This has been maintained in the MKII as it minimizes the adverse interactions that can occur with non-acoustically treated ceilings or desks, providing greater focus and neutrality. However, horizontal dispersion has been improved with the MKII, allowing for a wider sweet spot and smoother room response. Improved Power Efficiency and SPL - Overall speaker power management has been improved, and the iLoud MTM MKII is capable of delivering a higher maximum SPL compared to its predecessor. Increased Built-in DSP Power - The built-in processing power has nearly doubled compared to the original iLoud MTM. The speaker now operates at 96 kHz, all DSP processing works with greater precision delivering greater transparency and resolution, ARC correction is now derived directly from the Precision series and supports X-Monitor. Improved Room Calibration - iLoud MTM MKII incorporates a new version of ARC technology that offers substantial improvements over the previous version. Using the same technology and correction algorithms as our flagship speakers, the iLoud Precision Series, MTM MKII is capable of delivering unparalleled definition and flat response in virtually any environment. X-Monitor Integration - iLoud MTM MKII is compatible with X-Monitor software. This is an advanced control software for iLoud speakers, giving the user complete control of all speaker functions in a user-friendly and intuitive interface.
