The BST HTX-28C is a unidirectional electret condenser chair microphone designed to integrate with the HTX-28R UHF conference unit. It features volume control on the microphone itself and a priority button that mutes all delegate microphones when activated, ensuring the chair's voice prevails in the discussion. Its LCD display provides real-time information on the microphone's identity, battery level, channel, and frequency. The 46 cm flexible gooseneck facilitates ergonomic positioning of the capsule, and the unit automatically enters standby mode when the chair microphone is switched off. Powered by rechargeable Li-Po batteries, it can also be charged in the optional HTX-38B flight case, which supports up to 16 simultaneous units.
