The Electro-Voice EVERSE 8- BK is a self-powered, battery-powered loudspeaker that brings professional performance to mobile applications. It combines an 8" ferrite-magnet woofer and a 1" titanium-dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet in a constant directivity waveguide to deliver 121 dB max SPL and uniform 100° × 100° coverage. Class-D electronics with QuickSmart DSP — Powered by Dynacord — integrate a 4-channel digital mixer , effects , AFS (Automatic Feedback Suppression), and ducker , all controllable from the QuickSmart Mobile app. The polypropylene enclosure with painted steel grille is optimized for mobile use in black (BK) and allows tripod mounting, 55° monitor operation, or 30° kickback mode.

Designed for the outdoors, the EVERSE 8 achieves IP43 when running on battery power and the input panel’s weatherproof cover is installed. The 86.4 Wh Li-ion battery provides 12+ hours of use at moderate levels (≈95 dB SPL) or 6+ hours at maximum output. The rear panel includes two XLR/TRS combo inputs (with switchable +48 V phantom power on INPUT 1 and Hi-Z compatibility on INPUT 2), a 3.5 mm stereo input , an XLR MIX OUT , a TRS footswitch jack , a 12 V DC output for powering wireless receivers, and USB-C (1.5 A) for charging mobile devices. It features Bluetooth with stereo streaming and True Wireless Stereo for wirelessly linking two units.
