Audibax Pro R22i Dante - Dante adapter with 2 balanced analog inputs, 24-bit, PoE and AES67 compatibility
The Audibax Pro R22i Dante is a 2-channel analog to Dante network converter that reliably integrates balanced audio sources into any Dante ecosystem. It offers 24-bit resolution , selectable 44.1/48/96 kHz sampling, < 1 ms device delay and AES67 compatibility for interoperability with other AoIP systems. Its 2 × female XLR inputs accept levels up to +18 dBu , with 110 dB dynamic range , > 110 dB signal-to-noise ratio , THD+N of 0.007% at 1 kHz (+4 dBu) and flat frequency response 20 Hz–20 kHz (±0.2 dB) . It is powered via 802.3af Class 1 PoE from a compatible switch or injector, simplifying deployment in fixed installations and events.
Main features
- 2-channel analog → Dante conversion to integrate equipment with XLR output into audio over IP networks.
- Balanced inputs 2 × XLR-F with maximum input level +18 dBu .
- 24-bit 44.1/48/96 kHz audio with < 1 ms delay .
- Professional sound performance : SNR > 110 dB, dynamic range 110 dB, THD+N 0.007% (1 kHz, +4 dBu) and response 20 Hz–20 kHz (±0.2 dB) .
- AES67 support for interoperation with non-Dante AoIP devices.
- 802.3af PoE power supply (class 1) via RJ45 port, without external source.
- Management with Dante Controller for routing, clocking, and network monitoring.
- Compact format for integration into racks, technical furniture or stages (dimensions: 450 × 30 × 33 mm).
Product benefits
- Clean and quick installation : a single Ethernet cable for audio and power reduces wiring and installation time.
- Consistent quality : Stable, low-distortion conversion for faithful analog signal capture in matrix, recording or sound reinforcement.
- Interoperability : Integrates into multi-vendor networks thanks to Dante and AES67 , scaling from small rooms to complex systems.
- Centralized control : Configuration and monitoring from Dante Controller for secure routing and clock management.
Use cases
- Commercial and corporate installations : dumping local sources (players, mixers, stage boxes) to the building's Dante network.
- Rental and live : send analog signals from the stage to the event network without long cables, with very low latency.
- DSP and matrix integration : inject analog inputs into IP audio processors and multi-zone distribution systems.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I set it up? Use Dante Controller (Windows/macOS) for channel routing, clock setting, and basic monitoring.
- Does it need an external power supply? No. It's powered via 802.3af PoE (Class 1) from a compatible switch/injector.
- Does it work with non-Dante equipment? Yes, using AES67 when the other devices also support that standard.
