The AKG APS4 is an active wideband antenna and feed splitter that distributes the signal from one antenna pair (A/B) to up to 4 diversity receivers in AKG systems such as the WMS 420, WMS 470, WMS 4500 and DMS700 V2 . It operates in the extended 470–952 MHz range to cover most professional UHF bands. In addition to splitting RF, the APS4 can feed receivers via the included coaxial cable (BNC) when using the included PSU-12V5A power supply , simplifying wiring in installations and on the road.

For stable performance even with different cable types and lengths, it features level attenuation/compensation with internal CLA (Cable Length Adjustment) switches and front-mounted RF attenuation controls. Antenna A/B inputs supply 12 V DC for powering boosters and active antennas, with OK/ERROR LEDs monitoring the operating voltage on each channel. The 9.5”/1U chassis includes a rackmount kit and basic cabling, and allows cascading of up to 3 units for larger systems.
