The Triton Blue CB3 is a portable 3-channel cable protector designed for temporary installations at events, trade shows, construction sites, and venues with pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Its heavy-duty vulcanized rubber base and high-visibility yellow cover protect cables laid on the ground and reduce tripping hazards. It allows for daisy-chaining sections using male/female connectors at the ends and features an integrated handle for easy transport. Capable of supporting approximately 9 tons of loads when installed on firm, level ground, each channel supports cables up to 50 mm high, with differentiated widths for conduits, power, and signal.

Safety and recommended use

• Install only on firm, level ground to achieve rated load.
• Do not exceed 70% occupancy of each channel (up to the base of the lid).
• Do not use with voltage cables > 500 V , nor as a bridge over trenches or holes.
• On public roads, provide signage and permits according to local regulations.
• Keep hinges and locks clean ; lubricate periodically (Teflon/silicone) and remove any excess.

Mounting

• Connect the modules by the couplings and check the fit at each joint.
• Open the cover, place the cables inside the channels and close until they click into place .
• Check the closure before opening to pedestrian and/or vehicular traffic.
