The AKG EK500S is a coiled replacement cable for AKG headphones with a 3-pin mini XLR connection on the earcup. It offers a usable length of 5 m (≈16 ft) with a coiled section to reduce pulling and tangling, terminating in a 3.5 mm TRS mini jack for connection to interfaces, mixers, sound cards or portable devices. The locking female mini XLR connector ensures a firm hold on the headphone during studio or live use.
