Yellow Cable ECOM03J - 6.35 mm (TS) mono to XLR female jack cable, 3 m
The Yellow Cable ECOM03J is a 3-meter patch cable that connects a 6.35 mm TS (mono) male jack to a 3-pin female XLR connector . Part of the ECO series, it's designed to carry unbalanced analog audio from jack outputs (keyboards, players, auxiliary/return signals, pedals) to XLR inputs configured at line level . Its construction, featuring a black PVC jacket , copper spiral shielding , and a 6 mm outer diameter, offers a balanced combination of flexibility, durability, and basic interference rejection for everyday studio, live, and installation use.
Starting from a TS (mono) connector, this link does not convert the signal to balanced because it terminates in XLR. For long runs or when using microphone preamps , it is recommended to use a DI box/balancer or a TRS/XLR link when the equipment allows it, and to disable phantom power on the XLR input when working with unbalanced signals.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Does it convert to balanced? No. This TS → XLR link maintains the unbalanced signal.
- Can I use it with phantom power? Not recommended with unbalanced links; disable phantom power to avoid noise or malfunction.
- Is it suitable for microphones? It's not your typical microphone cable (which is XLR-XLR ). This model is used for line/instrument interconnection via a TS jack.
