GUARANTEED SECURITY:

The lifting tower ref. ELC-765 is provided with two security systems ; guaranteeing maximum reliability during the lifting and lowering of loads:

1. Self-braking winch from the Austrian manufacturer AL-KO Ref. AL-KO 900 (900 Kg):

The self-braking system of the winch prevents recoil and stops the load at the desired height; Once the required height is reached, when you stop operating the winch crank, its brake mechanism prevents recoil and stops the load.

2. ASB System (Automatic Locking Security System):

Zipper mechanism with safety pins. In the extreme case of cable breakage, the system would immediately block the tower section, preventing any movement of the load.

REGULATIONS:

The top loading lifting tower ref. ELC-765 complies with the safety requirements according to the following Directives and Regulations:

  • Directive 2006/42/EC : relating to machines and establishing the health and safety requirements that apply in the design and construction of machines.
  • EN 17206 (Replaces DIN 56950-1): Entertainment technology – Machinery for stages and other production areas – Safety requirements and inspections.
  • DGUV 17 & 18, DGUV Standard 115-002 (Ancient BGV-C1 ):
    – DGUV Regulations 17 & 18: Accident prevention regulations. Event and production facilities for stage performances.
    – DGUV Standard 115-02 : Production and staging facilities for the entertainment industry.

The construction of the ELC-765 lifting towers is developed with the most advanced welding equipment that guarantees maximum safety and resistance, meeting at all times the requirements of solidity, maneuverability and lightness necessary for lifting loads.

BASE:

Its 45x45 cm reinforced base is equipped with four rectangular design legs provided with leveling spindles, with chrome-plated steel and injected rubber non-slip discs which guarantees a perfect fit to all types of surfaces.

The ELC-765 manual lifting tower is provided with four swivel wheels with brake and bearings which allow us to transport the tower in a much smoother and more comfortable way. The wheels are fixed to the base by a clamping plate, with four screws per wheel; In this way, maximum fixation is guaranteed even in jobs where it is necessary to transport the tower over uneven ground.

TELESCOPIC PROFILES:

The lifting tower is made up of 4 sections of high-resistance steel finished in special epoxy paint for outdoors. Its finish allows us to use the lifting tower outdoors, ensuring its good maintenance and durability.

The sections are equipped with:
1. Oversized bushing on its terminal for greater reinforcement, using an ergonomic metal pressure knob.
2. Special adjustment system to avoid clearances between the sections (on its four sides).
3. Double pulley forwarding.
4. Protective plates to cover the pulleys; avoiding damage during handling and transport of the tower and preventing the cable from coming out of them.

LOAD LIFT:

The lifting of the load is carried out by means of a self-braking manual winch Ref . AL-KO 900 (900kg). The telescopic sections of the tower are maintained at the desired height simply by stopping operating the crank; The brake mechanism acts, locking the load in place.

The sections/sections are extended by sets of pulleys with bearings and galvanized steel cable (Composition: 7×19+0) specially designed for lifting loads.

The telescopic tower ref. ELC-765 is provided with Bubble level to facilitate its vertical adjustment.

TRANSPORT:

The telescopic towers ref. ELC-765 are equipped with a handle and four swivel wheels with brakes and bearings for easy handling and transportation.

During transport, its four legs are housed in the storage boxes and are locked with a knob and plate to avoid marking the leg.

The winch handle can be removed to make the unit more compact for easier transportation and storage.
