sE Electronics SE7 – Small Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
The sE Electronics SE7 is a high-quality small-diaphragm condenser microphone designed to deliver accurate, natural pickup characteristics and exceptional dynamic range in both the studio and live applications. Its gold-plated 1/2" back-electret capsule and discrete, transformerless Class-A circuitry deliver a completely linear response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with no sibilance or loss of bass. A selectable low-cut filter and –20 dB pad allow for controlling proximity effects and high SPL sources, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including acoustic guitars, drum overheads, piano, wind instruments, strings, and orchestral environments.
