The Samson S-Max MCD2 Pro is a passive stereo DI box designed to reliably connect computers, laptops, tablets, phones, DJ players and controllers to professional PA systems or mixers. It features dual mu-metal shielded STLX transformers for flat 18Hz–40kHz response , low distortion , and excellent rejection of hum and interference. Inputs include 2x 1/4" (6.35mm) , 2x RCA , and 3.5mm stereo mini jacks (all in parallel), plus 2x XLR balanced outputs . A stereo/mono (sum) switch allows summing to mono for PAs with mono inputs, a 0/−12dB pad prevents clipping from hot signals, and a ground lift feature eliminates ground loops.

Constructed from 14-gauge steel , the MCD2 Pro is designed for touring and rental applications. Being passive , it requires no phantom power or batteries .
