The Electro-Voice RE3-BPT-5H is a UHF bodypack transmitter for RE3 wireless systems, optimized for the 5H band (560–596 MHz) . Its all-metal chassis and magnetic slide-lock battery access ensure reliability in professional use. It offers a 36 MHz tuning width and selectable RF power ( 10 mW or 50 mW , depending on the band), facilitating operation in challenging environments. Ultrasonic synchronization allows quick pairing with the RE3 receiver, and integrated charging contacts make it compatible with the optional BC2 cradle for recharging NiMH batteries without removing them.

It features an LCD + LED display and controls for power, mute , group/channel/frequency, sensitivity adjustment, input attenuation, RF power, auto-off , and key lock. The input is a 4-pin mini-connector for RE3-compatible lavalier and headset microphones or instrument cables. It operates on two AA alkaline or rechargeable NiMH batteries . Compact dimensions 81.5 × 64.5 × 25 mm (without antenna) and weight 174 g .
