The L-TRONIK MX-880M is a microprocessor-powered paging desk designed to work with the MX-880 matrix in industrial sound and zone-based PA systems. It features a balanced 600 Ω unidirectional electret microphone with a frequency range of 50 Hz to 18 kHz , an 8-zone selector , and a general call with LED indication. A LED bar on the front displays the audio output level for quick and easy adjustment.

For pre-message signaling, it features switchable 2, 3, or 4-tone chimes and independent microphone and chime volume controls. Communication with the matrix is ​​via RS485 over an RJ45 connector, with a range of up to 50 m with internal power supply and over 50 m using an external 24 V DC power supply (power supply included). When an expanded zone selection is required, the system supports MX-880E expansion modules connected directly to the desk to add additional 8-zone blocks.
