MOTU M2 - USB Audio Interface

USB AUDIO INTERFACE During the fall of 2019 MOTU announced the launch of its new M2 and M4 USB interfaces for Mac, Windows and iOS, which offer the best audio quality imaginable, the best latency (ultra-low) and the best signal metering in their category, incorporating a fantastic full color LCD screen for this purpose. With two and four channels of audio I/O respectively, the M2 and M4 include individual 48V phantom power on both microphone inputs, mono and stereo (direct) hardware monitoring and MIDI input and output among other functions.

Equipped with the same ESS Sabre32 Ultra™ DAC technology found in audio interfaces costing thousands of dollars, the M2 and M4 deliver an astonishing 120 dB of dynamic range on their outputs. The ESS converters also drive the headphone output, allowing them to compete in playback quality with dedicated audiophile headphone amplifiers costing hundreds of dollars. Thanks to USB drivers designed by MOTU's expert programmers, the M2 and M4 offer a class-leading ultra-low send and return latency of 2.5 ms total (with the buffer set to 32 samples at 96 kHz). The M2 and M4 are the only audio interfaces in their class with a high-resolution, full-color LCD display with clear, detailed level meters for all inputs and outputs.
