The HK Audio L3 112 XA is a compact , self-powered, full-range 2-way system that delivers power, clarity, and an extremely versatile configuration for use as a main PA or stage monitor . Its 16 mm MDF enclosure with trapezoidal design and integrated monitor angle (33°) reduces resonances and allows vertical or horizontal placement depending on the application. Featuring 1200 W (peak) bi-amplified Class D amplification , a max. SPL of 135 dB (peak, half-space) , and a 67 Hz – 18 kHz (±3 dB) response, this enclosure is DSP -optimized with a FIR crossover at 2.3 kHz (72 dB/oct slope) for precise transitions between ways and a uniform 90° × 55° coverage thanks to its constant directivity horn. It integrates seamlessly with the LINEAR SUB series subwoofers, especially the L SUB 1500 A and L SUB 1800 A , to extend low-frequency extension.

Digital processing includes an intelligent multi-band limiter , subsonic filter and a host of protections (undervoltage, thermal, short circuit, overcurrent, peak/RMS limiters and thermal look-ahead control) that guarantee stability even during extended sessions. Operation is direct via two EQ switches with Bass Boost/Flat (LF) and Flat/Contour (MHF) presets, making it easy to adapt to different playing styles and venues. Connectivity includes 2 combo XLR mic/line inputs (Line/Mic switch on input A), 1 stereo RCA input , 2 XLR Thru outputs and 1 XLR Mix Out ; input sensitivity is +4 dBu with the gain control on the center click. For mounting, it includes a 3°/7° DuoTilt plinth , 4 M8 (AP-8) rigging points , 1 SingleGrip handle and 1 MultiGrip handle , as well as a metal grille with black acoustic foam and an acrylic enamel finish.
