The JBL PRX908 is a 2-way, 8-inch powered PA speaker from the PRX900 Series that takes professional portable performance to the next level with advanced acoustics , full-featured DSP , and high-efficiency Class-D amplification. It features an 8" 908G woofer (ferrite magnet, 2.4" voice coil) and a 1.5" JBL 2408H-2 compression driver (poly-annular diaphragm, neodymium magnet) working with the next-generation JBL Image Control waveguide to deliver 105° × 60° uniform coverage and a max SPL of 126 dB . System management and tuning are handled via the on-screen color LCD or via the JBL Pro Connect app over BLE, allowing control of up to 10 speakers and grouping them together.

Integrated dbx DriveRack processing adds Automatic Feedback Suppression (AFS) , system limiters, 12 bands of parametric EQ , and delays (up to 180 ms in 100 µs steps) for precise time alignment. Power-wise, the system delivers 2,000 W peak / 1,000 W RMS (distributed between tracks) with <1 ms latency and fan-less operation . The internally braced, talc-infused polypropylene composite enclosure maximizes rigidity and durability for heavy-duty use.
