The JBL PRX818XLF is an 18-inch powered subwoofer designed to deliver extended low frequencies with punch and control to portable PA systems and installations. Its architecture integrates a JBL 2278G Differential Drive® dual-voice coil woofer with a wide-gap magnetic motor and a 1,500W Class D amplifier , delivering up to 134 dB peak in a compact, durable wood enclosure with a DuraFlex™ finish and 16-gauge steel grille. The internal DSP offers selectable crossover , polarity reversal, protection and dbx Type IV™ limiting to keep the sound defined even at high volumes.

Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi and the free PRX Connect app (iOS/Android), you can fine-tune your system from anywhere in the venue: 8-band parametric EQ , speaker delay up to 50ms , gain, mute, and more. The rear panel features two XLR/1/4” combo inputs , two XLR loop-thru outputs , and an 80Hz low-pass filter with a 24dB/oct Linkwitz-Riley output for clean pairing with full-range speakers. An M20 threaded socket allows a satellite to be pole-mounted directly above the sub, ideal for portable reinforcement for DJs, bands, rentals, and corporate events.
