JBL Professional VTX-V20-AF-EB - Extension Bar for V20 Array Frame (Compression/Tension, 5-Way Spread)

The JBL VTX-V20-AF-EB is the official extension bar for the VTX-V20-AF array frame , designed to deploy VTX V20 systems in compression or tension mode with greater control over angle and lift point spacing. It can be mounted at the front of the frame to increase up-tilt (positive tilt) or at the rear to increase down-tilt (negative tilt); in the latter case, it also provides the anchor point for array compression . It offers five anchor positions to determine the “L” spacing for 2-point suspension and an additional 3 pick points for 1-point suspension, along with a dedicated pick point for the VTX-V20-LH hoist. The AF-EB can be installed as a single bar on the frame’s center tube or as a pair on the left/right tubes, and can also be ground stacked for increased stability and extended tilt range.

Main features

  • Full compatibility with the VTX-V20-AF frame and VTX V20 arrays.
  • Suspension mode : valid for compression (dedicated rear pick) and tension .
  • Front/rear mounting : more up-tilt (front) or more down-tilt (rear) depending on the need.
  • 2-point suspension with 5 “L” positions of separation; 3 pick points for 1 point.
  • Dedicated point for the VTX-V20-LH hoist in compression application.
  • Ground-stack use : front or rear mounting for greater stability and tilt range.
  • Touring steel construction with black powder coat finish ; weight 23 kg .
  • Includes adjustable leveling foot for stacking and 2 quick release pins (QRP).

Separations available (2-point suspension)

Five identical “L” positions for front or rear mounting of the bar:

  • Pos. 1: 918.9 mm
  • Pos. 2: 842.7 mm
  • Pos. 3: 766.5 mm
  • Pos. 4: 690.3 mm
  • Pos. 5: 614.1 mm

Benefits for production and tours

  • More rigging flexibility by choosing between 1 or 2 points and adjusting the “L” spacing.
  • Extended tilt range (up/down-tilt) without external hardware outside the VTX ecosystem.
  • Faster and more secure workflow thanks to dedicated pick points and included QRP.

Compatibilities and notes

  • Use in conjunction with VTX-V20-AF . The V20-AF frame supports up to 24 enclosures depending on array geometry.
  • Shackle sizes supported at pick points: 5/8" or 3/4" .
  • Installation options: single bar (center tube) or pair of bars (L/R tubes) of the frame.
