The JBL Professional MTC-426NC is the New Construction Bracket for preparing for the installation of the 400 Series in-ceiling speakers — Control 424LP, Control 426C/T, Control 426LP and Control 426C/T-LS — before closing the ceiling with drywall. Made of flat sheet metal with side wings for direct fixing to the structure, it allows you to reserve the location , hold the wiring behind the partition and use its ring as a blank cutting template once the drywall is in place. It is supplied in a pack of 6 units to speed up multi-point projects.

• New construction installation: It is fixed to studs/beams and is hidden behind the plasterboard; the ring serves as a guide for later cutting of the opening.
• Flexible mounting: Holes are spaced 16” (406 mm) and 24” (610 mm) on-center ; installer can drill additional holes up to 24.75” (≈ 630 mm) apart.
• Guaranteed compatibility: valid for Control 424LP, 426C/T, 426LP and 426C/T-LS .
• Robust sheet metal: approximate thickness 1.2 mm (0.047”), suitable for withstanding handling on site.
• Precise template: reference ring cutting diameter ≈ 226 mm (8.892”), aligned with the C426 family.

• The bracket also serves as a holding point for wiring to be “on hold” behind the panel.
