The JBL Professional MTC-23WMG-1 is the replacement WeatherMax™ grille for the JBL Control 23-1 loudspeakers. It incorporates a multi-layer WeatherMax™ foam backing and a tightly woven “vapor barrier” mesh that helps break up pressurized rain and protect the front of the speaker in harsh outdoor environments, without altering the aesthetics of the Control series. Combined with the MTC-PC2 or MTC-PC3 panel covers , it raises the system’s environmental rating from IP44 to IP55 (IEC 529), providing a professional solution for terraces, coastal areas, pools and spaces exposed to dust and moisture. It is supplied in black ; a white variant is available ( MTC-23WMG-1-WH ).
