The JBL Professional MTC-16WG-BK is a high humidity replacement grille designed specifically for the JBL Control 16C/T in-ceiling speaker in its black version (Control 16C/T-BK) . Constructed from rust-resistant 1060 aluminum alloy with a satin powder-coated finish ( RAL 9004 black), it protects the front face of the speaker and extends its lifespan in demanding environments such as high humidity areas and covered outdoor areas . It is press-fit to the speaker baffle and has a bonded rear fabric (scrim) to break up pressure-induced rain and minimize wind-driven water ingress.
