The JBL Professional AC266-WH is a 2-way AE Series full-range loudspeaker designed for fixed installations requiring controlled 60° × 60° coverage , high intelligibility, and a sleek white (-WH) finish . It combines a 310 mm (12″) woofer with a 66 mm (2.5″) voice coil (P/N 5050730) and a 2408H-2 compression driver with a 25 mm (1″) exit and a 35 mm (1.5″) diaphragm/voice coil, mounted on a waveguide that maintains the pattern in vertical or horizontal orientation. The high-slope passive crossover minimizes overlap between paths and ensures a well-controlled off-axis response.
The enclosure is constructed from 15mm hardwood plywood with a white textured paint finish and features a 1.5mm perforated steel grille with acoustic foam. For installation, it features 14 M10 suspension points and four rear M10 threads for attaching MultiMount® or similar mounts. Connectivity combines dual Neutrik NL4 connectors with parallel, covered screw terminals . With a sensitivity of 97dB (1W/1m) , an 8Ω impedance , IEC 250/500/1000W and AES 350W (1400W peak, 2h) power ratings, and a maximum SPL of 121dB (127dB peak) , the AC266-WH delivers an authoritative performance in theaters, houses of worship, education, retail/hospitality, and corporate venues.
