JBL Control 89MS Above-Ground Landscape Subwoofer The JBL Control 89MS Above-Ground Landscape Subwoofer enhances the low-frequency performance of the JBL Control 80 Series landscape speaker line (and other outdoor systems) to provide rich bass in lawn, garden, and entry areas of hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality and retail complexes, as well as theme parks, sports venues, resorts, driveways, and anywhere a highly weather-resistant loudspeaker is required. Features: Long-throw 200 mm (8 in) driver with polypropylene cone, long-excursion TPV surround, and large-diameter 50 mm (2 in) voice coil over fiberglass former. 150 W pink noise power handling (300 W program) in 8” direct configuration, plus a 70 V/100 V multi-tap transformer with built-in 80 W subwoofer strip. Rugged polyethylene enclosure stands up to abuse from lawn care equipment and the elements. IP56 rated to withstand the elements, with a rugged polyethylene housing and a fully sealed central wiring chamber. Frequency range: 40 Hz–150 Hz
