The JBL Professional AW266 is a high-power passive loudspeaker for fixed installations, designed to provide controlled coverage and reliability in exposed outdoor and indoor environments. It features a 12" JBL 2262H woofer with Differential Drive® technology (dual 3" voice coils) and a JBL 2432H compression driver (1.5" exit, 3" voice coil), coupled to a large-format PT™ (Progressive Transition) waveguide with a 60° × 60° pattern . The system maintains the same directivity in both vertical and horizontal orientations, facilitating its integration into bleachers, facades, or technical walkways.
For added versatility, the AW266 can operate on 8 Ω or distribution networks thanks to its internal 400 W 70/100 V transformer with selectable taps. Its all-weather construction is truly exceptional: a 100% hand-laminated fiberglass enclosure with heavy-duty bracing and a three-layer (16-gauge) stainless steel grille with open-cell foam and mesh, certified IP55C (IEC 529) against rain, humidity, dust, and salt spray. It includes a corrosion-resistant U-shaped mounting bracket and is available in gray (gel-coat similar to Pantone 420C) and black .
