IK Multimedia ’s iLoud Precision MTM MKII combines MTM (midwoofer–tweeter–midwoofer) architecture with digital processing at 96 kHz to deliver remarkably flat and coherent near- and midfield reference monitoring. Its configuration featuring two 5” ultra-lightweight paper woofers and a 1.5” rear-chambered textile tweeter , plus 175 W RMS of custom-designed Class-D amplification, ensures precise transients, controlled bass, and stable imaging even in complex rooms. Response is ±1 dB from 45 Hz to 30 kHz , with bass extension down to 37 Hz (@ −4 dB) , and exemplary time coherence across the entire spectrum thanks to an 8th-order linear crossover . It features ARC (Acoustic Calibration) and integrates with X-MONITOR software for full control, fine-tuning, and emulation of multiple reference monitors, accelerating decisions that translate better outside of the studio. Made in Italy and supplied with isolation pods, the MTM MKII establishes itself as a high-performance reference monitor in a compact format.
