The Gator GPC2216BD is a professional case from the Gator Grooves series, designed specifically for 20" x 16" (approximately 50.8 x 40.6 cm ) bass drums. Its roto-molded, weather-resistant shell withstands heavy use on the road, while the padded red micro-velvet interior protects the shell, hoops, and hardware from bumps and abrasion. The lining is double-stitched through the interior and exterior to prevent it from peeling over time. For safe transport, it features three spring-loaded handles with 90° locking mechanisms —including two side handles for two-handed gripping—and three 2" ( 5.08 cm ) straps with high-tension buckles for secure closure. The unique Rear-Aligned Stacking System, with channels that interlock with the pedestal feet, allows for very stable stacking and balanced handling by forklift or in the warehouse.
