The JBL Control 89MS above-ground landscape subwoofer enhances the low-frequency performance of the JBL Control 80 Series landscape speaker line (and other outdoor systems) to provide rich bass in lawn, garden and entryway areas of hotels, restaurants and other hospitality and retail complexes, as well as theme parks, sports venues, resorts, entryways and anywhere a highly weather-resistant loudspeaker is required.
Characteristics
• 200 mm (8 in) long-throw driver with polypropylene cone, long-excursion TPV surround, and large diameter 50 mm (2 in) voice coil over fiberglass former.
• 150W pink noise power handling (300W program) in 8Ω direct configuration, plus a 70V/100V multi-tap transformer with built-in 80W subwoofer strip
• Heavy-duty polyethylene cabinet withstands the abuse of lawn care equipment and the elements.
• IP56 rated to withstand the elements, with a durable polyethylene housing and a fully sealed central wiring chamber
• Frequency range: 40 Hz–150 Hz
