The Samson Carbon 49 is a 49-key, velocity-sensitive, semi-weighted USB/MIDI controller designed for music production and live performance. It features an assignable data encoder , volume fader , pitch and modulation wheels , Octave and Transpose buttons , and a 3-digit, 7-segment LED display for real-time feedback. Up to 14 MIDI control parameters can be adjusted without additional software via the EDIT key and function keys. Comprehensive connectivity (USB, 5-pin MIDI OUT , and sustain pedal input) makes it easy to integrate with DAWs, virtual instruments, and external modules.

The Carbon 49 is plug & play with Windows and macOS and is powered by USB . It can also be powered and controlled from an iPad using the Apple Camera Connection Kit (not included), and includes a slotted iPad mount with included rubber feet. It comes with Native Instruments Komplete Elements software so you can start creating right away.
