Samson C02 (Pair) – Paired cardioid, small diaphragm pencil condenser microphones ±0.5 dB
The Samson C02 is a stereo pair of small-diaphragm condenser microphones (pencil format) designed to accurately capture every nuance in recording and on-the-fly applications . Their cardioid polar pattern and low-mass diaphragm provide linear response and excellent transient handling, making them especially effective on acoustic instruments (guitar, piano, strings, wind instruments), as overheads for drums , hi-hats , and as a stereo partner. Handling up to 134 dB SPL , they maintain detail without clipping on demanding sources.
They are supplied as a matched pair , calibrated to a sensitivity tolerance of ±0.5 dB between units for accurate stereo imaging. Each microphone features a gold-plated XLR connector and is powered by 48 V phantom power . The included hard case provides easy transport and protection, while the shock-mounted clips and foam windscreens help minimize mechanical noise, wind, and plosives.
