The BSS EC-8BV-WH is an Ethernet wall controller from the Soundweb Contrio family for HARMAN HiQnet ecosystems. From its single Ethernet port with PoE it allows configuration, control and monitoring of BSS Soundweb London and other HiQnet devices such as the Crown DCi , with rapid commissioning using HiQnet Audio Architect via drag-and-drop . This white version is offered in both US Decora and EU dual-module formats, integrating cleanly into new or existing installations.

Its interface combines 1 push-button rotary encoder , a multi-color LED ring , 8 backlit buttons and 2 64x128 px multi-color LCD displays . The ring can act as a VU meter , displaying the volume level while turning and signaling binary states when pressed (e.g. mute ). The backlight supports 8 colors (red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, magenta, white and amber) with adjustable brightness to code zones or functions. It incorporates Sleep mode (LED off due to inactivity), remote lock/unlock and local unlock by 4-digit PIN , in addition to the Locate button to identify the panel from the software.
